Director, Innovative Learning Solutions
Faith is an innovative learning solutions expert with more than 20 years of experience employing all phases of the instruction design process.

Faith uses her knowledge of adult learning principles, 教学设计, and best practices in the field to conduct training needs assessments, produce customized training solutions for various federal agencies, and evaluate the effectiveness of those training solutions. She has extensive experience adapting modern design and development practices to create innovative training solutions.

自2009年以来, Faith has supported the Center for the Army Profession and 领导 in designing and developing various learning interventions to help Army leaders enhance their leadership skills and performance. These interventions include more than 40 hours of competency-based interactive multimedia instruction lessons, handbooks and self-study guides, 两个基于web的工具, and a mobile learning application called LeaderMap that functions on iOS and Android mobile platforms as well as on desktop systems.

Faith also manages the curriculum development and delivery of a six-month Digital IT Acquisition Professional (DITAP) certification program for the U.S. 数字服务. The program builds digital services acquisition expertise using agile and human-centered design principles. The curriculum uses an agile approach to learning to deliver new material in two-week iterations and includes a combination of instructional strategies that move participants from knowledge and understanding to demonstrated learning, 宣传, and on-the-job application. Assessments and continuous feedback inform real-time adjustments to course content and pacing and individualize the learning experience. The DITAP Program was selected as a finalist at the 2016 American Council for 技术-Industry Advisory Council Igniting Innovation Showcase and Awards. 到目前为止, more than 300 participants from across government agencies have successfully completed the program.

除了, Faith managed the redesign of the Motorcycle Safety Program Management course for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The updated course incorporates a broader mix of audiences, focuses on performance rather than knowledge, and spreads out the delivery to include self-directed activities, among other enhancements. Based on the Motorcycle Safety Program Management course’s success, NHTSA also requested that we update and redesign the online Motorcycle Safety Law Enforcement course.

Faith also worked with the Veterans Health Administration’s Simulation Learning 教育 and 研究 Network, leading a team of 教学设计ers to design three immersive, single-player educational games. The games incorporated principles of experiential learning and game theory to support the learning needs of medical professionals across the agency.
